Employers from throughout the Midlands are backing a recruitment event, being run through the Construction and Design Centre of Excellence (Cadcoe) early in 2019, in order to find their future talent.
The event, which will take place on Monday 21st January 2019 at Dudley College of Technology, aims to find up to 40 aspiring digital engineers, to join the Cadcoe intensive CAD and 3D Modelling course, due to start in March.
Following on from the success of similar recruitment days held throughout the UK last Summer, Cadcoe are once again inviting employers to get in touch to find out how they can support the future of construction and engineering, whilst addressing their own business skills shortages.
Cadcoe is a training provider, working in partnership with Dudley College, specialising in the delivery of funded digital engineering apprenticeships. As the team say goodbye to a hugely successful 2018, they are looking to continue their growth in being the provider of choice for innovative and cutting-edge training within the construction industry.
In September, more than 30% of employers involved in the Apprenticeship Programme, sourced their candidates from a Cadcoe recruitment event including; Delta Balustrades, Oakwood Engineering, Advanced Roofing, Matrix CAD, Absolute CAD, Met Structures, NWS, Design Rationale, Innovare and Universal Fabrications.
Recruitment Director, Declan McDonnell has been encouraging businesses to get behind the event as well as the industry’s future workforce, as the final few spaces remain for March “Businesses that are already utilising the Cadcoe Apprenticeship, report four times the productivity to those accessing more traditional Apprenticeship models. Our intensive learning framework enables candidates to progress more quickly, making a difference to the company bottom line from day one of employment.
Cadcoe doesn’t just offer Apprenticeships, candidates can also access the 16 week fast-track CAD training, or mix and match elements, depending on the required need.
